Well, I'm still not so sure about the coral calcium thing, but the soft water is fantastic. No more water spots, the taste of the water is superb, and my hair is starting to lose the frizzies.
I've actually been able to cook three nights in a row in my own kitchen. I had to scale back my chocolate chip cookie plans since I take a water aerobics class at Ventura College on Monday and Wednesday nights. I was too tired to mess with cookie dough.
So, my first meal was grilled cheese sandwhiches and Campbell's Tomato Soup. Mmmm Mmmm Good!
The next night, we grilled chicken outside and I made rice and stir-fried vegetables. Last night, it was tacos.
I guess all those dreams of baking that were dancing in my head during the remodel will have to wait until work and life quiet down a little bit. Perhaps I can do the cookies this weekend.
But, the best thing is that I can actually eat at home. And Gabe is actually eating dinner again instead of turning his nose up at whatever the waiter put in front of him.
Our plans for Friday night.... taking some friends out for dinner. ... Maybe I'll make Valentine's Day sugar cookies....
