It's a sad season for county football fans who grew to love watching replays of Time Warner Cable's "Game of the Week."
Time Warner decided not to produce games during the regular season, although there is a chance the broadcast might return for the playoffs.
I spoke with announcers Tom West and Dave Wheeler earlier in the week, and they said Time Warner has decided to put its resources behind a new weekly sports show.
"High School Sports Rewind" will be a 30-minute weekly highlight show hosted by sportscaster Randy Kerdoon. The show, which will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., will feature action from L.A., Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.
That likely means the VC portion will not be very extensive and probably skew towards the big dogs like Oaks Christian and St. Bonaventure. The show is supposed to have interviews with players, coaches and viewer submitted highlights.
And, you can only find it on Channel 101.
