The Moorpark High football team moved up to No. 1 in the CIF-Southern Section Northern Division polls Monday.
Unbeaten in four games, Moorpark jumped ahead of St. Bonaventure, which dropped to No. 3 behind Valencia.
Moorpark improved to 4-0 with a 35-7 win over Calabasas last week, while St. Bonaventure lost in overtime to Bishop Amat, 24-23. The loss snapped St. Bonaventure's 14-game winning streak.
Other county teams in the top 10 are: 4. Westlake, 5. Newbury Park, 6. Oxnard, 8. Channel Islands and 9. Hueneme.
Oaks Christian remains the No. 1 team in the Northwest Division poll as well as owning the top spot in the state rankings.
Nordhoff is ranked No. 10 in the Northwest Division.
Santa Paula remains the No. 2-ranked East Valley Division team behind St. Margaret's. Villanova Prep is No. 10.
