6. Rio Mesa reaches the Division IV girls' water polo semifinals for the second straight year.
7. Keani Albanez hits a field goal with 32 seconds remaining to lift Buena over Katella in the second round of the II-AA girls' basketball playoffs.
8. Jonathan Urango of Camarillo wins his second CIF wrestling title, capturing the 160-pound title at Pacifica.
9. Royal's Sergio Cortez deeats Agoura's John Combs for the 152-pound Southern Division wrestling title.
