First up is the latest from my new favorite band Gotye - believe the hype - this dude is really good. It's from 2011 - the album is "Making Mirrors" and it's on Universal Republic, and should've been a Top Five album on the year end list. In the real world, he's Wouter "Wally" De Backer and the coolest Wally since Clever and Moon and it becomes obvious pretty quick why "Somebody That I Used To Know" went to #1 last year - it's always fun to diss Miss Take and "I Feel Better" will make your feet feel better right away. A Belgian out of Australia, Gotye has a winning voice and plays a bunch of instruments and knows what a great song should sound like and you're gonna need a crowbar to get this out of your CD player. Gotye's gonna getcha. Really.
