The latest from Loudon Wainwright III is "Older Than My Old Man Now" and it's on Second Story Sound Records. There's usually a couple of good ones on every Wainwright even a brilliant tune such as "People in Love," but this one? Not so much. It's autobiographical as Wainwright discusses his many relationships, kids and mistakes - or how he's like everyone else, muddling through. And he lived longer than his dad which explains the title. Wainwright is always worth checking out but it's just a so-so effort this time.
