Pop Meat/Your Corruptor

The Fixers have a new EP - and that would be "Pop Meat/Your Corruptor" and it's just out on Dolphin Love Records. It's four guy BritPop out of Oxford in Scary Olde and the short bio info I could find compares them to the Beach Boys - heavy stuff and you know what? They're right. The first tune, "Another Last Apache" could be a Brian Wilson song and the happening harmonies are definitely fun, fun, fun. These guys are as good as the Vaccines - a band I loved most of all in 2011 - but I'm a sucker for singers that can sing. Here's four of them - can't wait for the full length. And the label name reminds me - what's up with killing dolphins? That is completely despicable (I can't say worse in a family newspaper) but dolphins are cool to humans who clearly don't deserve it and in fact, love us unconditionally like dogs do.
