The new Spiritualized is, as is customary, totally a keeper - the album is "Huh" and it's on Fat Possum Records, about the best thing I can think of out of Mississippi. Jason Spaceman returns with another meandering shoe gazer, jam band trip into the NeverLand of dreamy stoner pop so spacey that you may fail the drug test at work after listening. "Life Is A Problem" is an ode to Jesus, and is about as close as I'll ever get to church but its disarming simplicity (and killer hooks) are hard to ignore. And "Too Late" is the final word for those who think fashionably late is the thing when it comes to love. And live? This dude is as good as it gets.
