That Noise is an unsigned L.A. indie band hoping to sell a few (zillion) copies of their new three-song EP, "Love Remains." According to their own hype, "They're on a mission to eradicate mediocrity of thought and develop a new generation of soldiers dedicated to freeing minds and breaking down barriers." Cliche fest aside, they do offer up some reverential surreal BritPop techno pop - except it's not 1988 and these guys are from L.A. "Erase the Pain" is smoother than the aftermath of a 50 foot slug, and their "noise" is sufficiently musical to preclude the dreaded day job for the forseeable future.
