... or at least T&T.

The team some figured were the 32nd team in the tournament, Trinidad and Tobago, guaranteed they won't be finishing last by keeping Zlatan and Henrik and Freddie scoreless in a riveting 0-0 draw, despite being down to 10 men for the vast majority of the second half.

It is results like these that both make the group stages so much fun... and show people that a nil-nil result can be both fun and valuable.

Hislop played great.

Shaka was AMAZING. Your assessment of that tackle however, is shocking. But the Trinis can get points off England, perhaps on sheer emotion.

A great game for T&T :-) They played with heart, they were rock-solid on defense, and Shaka Hislop was stellar in goal. Too bad the referee had such trouble seeing the pitch :-( The yellow card given to Avery John was ridiculous. He was playing the ball, he'd made a clean play to clear it out and Wilhelmssohn came on to John's feet *after* the ball was cleared; the replays were very clear on that. If anything, this could have been a foul on the Swede, although the proper call should have been a "play on". Still, if T&T can play like this the rest of the way in Group, they'll pass through. In their match, England was shaky, and Paraguay showed nothing. If Trinidad and Tobago can beat Paraguay (not at all unlikely) and get a draw with the Brits, it could all come down to the Sweden-England game. Gotta like the Warriors' chances, especially with only one goal in the Group after the first day :-)
