- Selleh scores inside to make it 61-48, Ventura. Santa Ana takes a timeout with 4:01 left.
- Ventura wins 71-59. Selleh has 25, Williams has 24 and Ligon had a game-high 29. She missed a layup at the buzzer for 31.

- The Ventura lead peaks at 59-42 before Santa Ana makes it's final push. Three straight scores pull it within 59-48 with five minutes left. Ligon has a game-high 24 points.

- Williams gets a putback and a jumper to extend Ventura's lead to 53-40 with under 10 minutes to play.

- Ventura attacks Santa Ana's half-court trap as Wong drills a left wing trey to polish off a 8-0 VC run.Heather Couzens gets a runner for SAC before the buzzer goes. The halftime score is 38-28, Ventura.

- Santa Ana cuts the lead to five, 31-26, on a couple of free throw trips. But two nice jumpers by Williams pushes the VC lead back out to 35-26 with two minutes left until halftime.

- Ligon is keeping Santa Ana in this game. Two free throws and a corner trey give her 17 of the Dons' 21 points. A Selleh 3 still keeps the Pirates ahead 31-21 with four minutes left before halftime.

- Ligon hits a jumper to end a 15-2 VC run, but Perry comes back down the other end with a nice drive in traffic.

- Wong slips a beautiful pass forward for Misty Alvarado on the break and Selleh drills a corner trey for a 26-14 VC lead, 7:30.

- Ventura freshman Eja Wong comes off the bench to spark a 6-0 Ventura spurt, driving to the bucket for a layup and then finding Williams along for another two and a 17-12 VC lead, 11:35.

- Williams drains a baseline jumper and Selleh scores from a Sandy Perry steal for a 9-4 Ventura lead, 16:00

- Jessi Selleh hits a left wing 3-pointer and Veronica Williams drives to the basket for an early 5-2 Ventura lead
