COMMUNITY COLLEGE
No. 20 Bakersfield (2-4, 1-1) at No. 9 Moorpark (3-2, 0-1)
Griffin Stadium, 6 p.m.
LAST WEEK: Canyons 48, Moorpark 3; Bakersfield 34, Hancock 17.
LAST YEAR: Did not play.
SERIES HISTORY: Bakersfield leads, 10-6-1, in a series which dates back to 1986.
GAME FACTS: Without running back Danny Mosier (64 att., 400 yards, 5 TDs), linebacker Miller Aupiu and key cornerback Roy Holmes, battered Moorpark attempts to put the pieces back together against perhaps its most respected rival. Proud Bakersfield has taken its own beatings through a difficult schedule, which has included Fresno and El Camino. But the Renegades sit third in SoCal in rushing offense (260.5 ypg) and fourth in red zone offense. RB Bruce Frieson (116 att., 800 yards and 8 TDs) leads SoCal in rushing and freshman Andre Smith (43 att., 447 yards, 4 TDs) isn't far behind. BC also leads the South in punting and has only allowed four sacks, the lowest in the region. With all the Moorpark injuries, more pressure falls on QB Donald Senegal (63-of-115 passing, 807 yards, 7 TDs, 1 int.), WR Mark Urbina (24 rec., 327 yards, 2 TDs) and the defense, which has been led by LB Meke Okechuk (33 tackles), DB Kyley McCrae (24 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 int.) and DE James Brito-White (20 tackles).

Hi Joe,
Are you going to be blogging the Moorpark job tonight???
