Non-conference game
No. 1 Ventura women 73, Santa Ana 55 FINAL
-- At the half, VC led 46-17. Chanelle Brennan led VC with 10 points, followed by eight points by Donelle Griggs and seven points by Michelle Santizo.
-- Griggs finished with a team-high 12, followed by 10 points by both Brennan and Jessi Selleh as top-ranked VC improved to 13-0.
-- VC plays at No. 15 Orange Coast tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m.

Intensity Classic
No. 16 Moorpark men 76, El Camino 70 FINAL
-- Moorpark improved to 9-2, despite being without head coach Remy McCarthy, who needed a cortisone shot to alleve his ailing back, for the first 10 minutes of first half.
-- Assistant coach Mick Cady took over. "With Mick there we've got no problems," said McCarthy.
-- Moorpark led 66-49 before finishing poorly.

Santa Barbara City Classic
Oxnard men 61, Los Angeles Valley 59 FINAL
