No one should make the mistake of believing that it is only athletes taking advantage of this. This has been going on in the California Junior College's as long as I can remember. When I moved to Ventura County in 1968 I was told by more than one person that the system was set up this way.

This is not a suprise at all. When young people are given the choice of paying $3000 or $300 for the same thing they will always choose to pay the lower amount.

As a taxpayer. I would like to know when are the college presidents going to stop blaming only athletes and start taking responsibilty for a system that they are well aware has problems?
