The Orange Coast College men's volleyball team eliminated Moorpark in five games, 22-30, 30-18, 27-30, 30-28, 15-12, in Tuesday's state quarterfinal at Raider Pavilion.
The fifth game had been tied at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Until Orange Coast's Doug Astor won a pair of jousts against Moorpark's Jared Furlong to put the visiting Pirates up 12-10.
