MC softball finishes regular season 31-12

Bonnie Ward pitched a three-hitter, striking out seven, and went 3 for 3, with a double and two home runs as the WSC Gold champion Moorpark College softball team finished the regular season with a 6-2 win against Oxnard.

Bry Schwartz went 2 for 3 and hit two homers. Jennifer Irvine went 2 for 4 with one run scored.

Moorpark (31-12, 19-5) awaits the Southern California regional playoff pairings Friday.
