Spring break surging

The Ventura College baseball team will resume WSC North play today at Oxnard on the crest of an eight-game winning streak.

The third-place Pirates (20-12, 9-8), who trail second-place Hancock by two games, went 6-0 in non-conference play over Spring break.

The 28-8 win over Oxnard on April 4 was Ventura's record win in the rivalry.
