Sophomore Alberto Anguiano's goal two minutes into second half stoppage time ensured the Oxnard College men's soccer team opened Western State Conference play with a win, 1-0, against Citrus.

After 91 minutes of scoreless soccer, freshman midfielder Jose Rivelo chipped a ball behind the Owls' defense. Anguiano ran onto the pass, beat one defender and cut inside to score the game-winning goal.

Oxnard improves to 5-2-1, 1-0 in the WSC.
