Shaklia Balhki had 10 kills, Rachel Olynik had six kills and two blocks and Olivia White had 22 assists as the Moorpark College women's volleyball team swept Los Angeles Pierce, 25-17, 26-24, 26-24, Wednesday in Woodland Hills.

Vanessa Valdez and Shanna Wright led the Oxnard College women's volleyball team to a sweep of West Los Angeles, 27-25, 25-18, 25-16, Tuesday in Culver City.

Meanwhile, Ventura College fell in three games at Glendale Tuesday, 25-13, 25-22, 25-16, despite 19 assists and eight kills from Justine O'Connor, three blocks by Anne Westbrook and six digs from Jessica Lara.

Moorpark (8-1), Oxnard (5-1) and Ventura (5-6) are all in action Friday night.
