As first-place Oxnard lost at home against Ventura, 6-4, second-place Hancock was busy beating Santa Barbara City, 7-6.
So the teams are in a flat-footed tie with three games to play.
Oxnard plays at Ventura Tuesday before finishing with a home-and-away series with Hancock Thursday and Friday.
That means that, no matter what happens, the title will be decided head to head this week.
