It's a morning-night doubleheader for community college football fans Saturday, when the Ventura College and Moorpark College football teams will hold intrasquad scrimmages at their home stadiums.

The Pirates will scrimmage at 9:30 a.m. at the VC Sportsplex. The Raiders will scrimmage at 6 p.m. at Griffin Stadium.

The teams open up Sept. 4 against each other in the annual Citrus Cup at the VC Sportsplex.
