Ventura 77, Moorpark 64 FINAL James Ennis scored 26 points, Corey Hall had 12 points and Brandon Edwards added 10 points for first-place Ventura (19-7, 7-2), which won its fifth straight game. Moorpark (8-15, 3-6) was led by 17 points by Coltrane Powdrill, 14 points from Alex Romero and 11 points from Andre Fowler.

Ventura 63, Moorpark 57 FINAL Destinee LaFountain had 11 points and 21 rebounds and Rebecca Griffin had 10 points and seven assists as the Ventura College women's basketball team clinched a share of the Western State Conference's North Division title for the 21st consecutive season. Ja'Lisa Gatin and Carlotta Kloppenburg added 10 points apiece as Ventura (20-6, 9-0) won for the ninth straight game. Moorpark (15-8, 6-3) had its five-game winning streak snapped despite 21 points from Sidney Dobner, 14 points from Ashley Samson and 13 points and 11 rebounds from Deepika Kapil.
