Moorpark volleyball ranked No. 8 in first poll

The Moorpark College women's volleyball team opened at No. 8 in Southern California after its 3-0 start.

The Raiders, who return star middle blocker Karissa Flack and setters Jessica Soprano and Taylor Frederick, opened the season by winning the Santa Monica College tournament, which included wins over No. 9 Cypress (4-4) and No. 5-N American River (4-1).
