Ventura College football coach Steve Mooshagian improved to 3-0 in rivalry games at Ventura Saturday, following last year's sweep of Moorpark and Santa Barbara City.

But it wasn't without some kind words for his neighbors.

"They're a way better football team than they were a year ago," said Mooshagian. "They've improved by leaps and bounds.

"If they can sustain that and play at that level, I can see them winning plenty of games."
