The Ventura College football team (6-4) moved up three spots to No. 7 this week in the Southern California coaches' poll.
The Pirates, who upset El Camino Saturday to earn a bowl berth, also jumped to No. 16 in the state.
Moorpark (6-4), which fell out of the state poll, is No. 14 in SoCal.
