After a two-year separation, county rivals Ventura College and Moorpark College are conference rivals yet again.

Over the next two seasons, the SCFA Northern Conference will consist of the Ventura College and Moorpark College football teams, two-time defending conference champion Cerritos, former WSC foes Bakersfield, Canyons and Hancock, and historic foe Pasadena City College.

The Northern Conference will be one of three seven-team conferences in the top-tier National Division.

This is what the full alignment looks like:

National Division
Northern Conference: Ventura, Moorpark, Hancock, Bakersfield, Canyons, Pasadena, Cerritos.
Central Conference: Desert, Riverside, Mt. SAC, Citrus, Long Beach, El Camino, LA Harbor.
Southern Conference: Grossmont, Palomar, Saddleback, Santa Ana, Fullerton, Orange Coast, Golden West.

American Division
Mountain Conference: San Bernardino Valley, Mt. San Jacinto, East Los Angeles, Victor Valley, San Diego Mesa, Compton, Southwestern, Chaffey
Pacific Conference: West Los Angeles, Los Angeles Valley, Los Angeles Pierce, Santa Monica, Los Angeles Southwest, Santa Barbara City, Glendale, Antelope Valley
