Two days before WSC North co-leaders Ventura and Moorpark meet for the first time this season at Raider Pavilion, the cross-county rivals took up two of the Top 12 spots in the Southern California coaches' poll.
Ventura (22-1) stayed No. 1 for the ninth straight week. Moorpark (13-7) moved up three spots to No. 12.
Ventura is also No. 1 in the state poll. Although it's no longer unanimous because two North voters switched to Mt. SAC this week, despite the Mounties two losses coming at the Pirates' hands.
