The ninth round of the WSC North basketball campaign all takes place outside the county tonight with doubleheaders in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Santa Maria.

Moorpark 70, Cuesta 64 FINAL Ashley Samson had 22 points, Camilla Chun had 17 points and six assists, Charnae Thomas had 11 points and six rebounds and Katie Lenik had 14 points and six rebounds as the second-place Raiders took a three-game lead over third-place Cuesta and Santa Barbara with four to play.
Ventura 73, Santa Barbara City 43 FINAL Rebecca Griffin had 20 points and four steals. Destinee LaFountain had 17 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and three blocks. Rian Mew had seven points and three assists.
L.A. Pierce 78, Hancock 47 FINAL
Men's schedule, 7 p.m.
Cuesta 72, Moorpark 60 FINAL Sahdi Odu had a team-high 20 points and Coltrane Powdrill added 14 points, but the Raiders couldn't pull off a season sweep first-place Cuesta. Malte Kramer and Calen Coleman both had 21 points for Cuesta.
Ventura 88, Santa Barbara City 74 FINALNajee Salaam had 30 points, Zalmico Harmon had 18 points and Corey Hall had 17 points as the Pirates stayed a game back of Cuesta. VC trailed 47-42 at the half.
