Ventura linebacker P.J. Gremaud has earned SCFA Northern Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks.

The sophomore from St. Bonaventure High had 15 tackles, including 10 unassisted, a half sack and also threw the key block on DeMaryae Williams' fourth-and-goal touchdown run for the game-winning points in the 31-24 win at Hancock.

Moorpark College earned the Special Teams Player of the Week award for the fourth time this season as Jeremy Lester joined kicker Derek Kirk and punter Alex Nelson.
The freshman from Simi Valley High blocked a punt and recovered it for a touchdown in Moorpark's 21-20 loss to Canyons.
