Well folks, it is official Ferial Masry is running for office in a rematch with Audra Strickland. Here is an e-mail I recieved when I asked her....


Hi Brian,
I submitted my paper to the Secreretry of State. I announced to everyone that I am running again for 2006.

So, what has changed? I think she is ready to take the gloves off in this round. Also, she has already started raising money. It looks to be a safe Republican district but could Arnold change that in the fall " Year of reform" campaign to change how district lines are drawn?

Hmm, ...how to keep Farial Masry's name out there? And make Strickland look too... oh, vigilante for our middle-of-the-road moderates here in Ventura County?

Oh, that's right... Ventura County isn't middle-of-the-road or moderate!

I'll support Masry's candidacy (again). I wish her luck. But I'm just so exhausted from the 2004 season...
