On April 20th ( 7PM) in the community room of the Simi Valley Library The Simi Valley Democrats will take on The Simi Valley California Republican Assembly!

It will be a no holds barred brawl with the victor claiming....

Oh, Let's get real, both sides will claim victory. But it promises to educate the public and hopefully be entertaining. If you ever wanted to get involved in politics both parties can help you out before or after the debate.

The debate might be moot being that many ( myself included ) believe the propoal (or lack thereof since George Bush hasn't put an official proposal out yet). is dead on arrival, at least for this year.

Hope to see you guys there. Maybe we can make this a regular debate club where both sides come together and discuss politics. The potential is great. I think in the future young people can be invited to attend and debate themselves. I think we can all agree that would be great.
