So what's ( or who's) blogging?
I have a few Ventura County themed blogs I read.
If it is about dentistry, religion, politics, or whatever post a link.
Read the whole entry for my favorites.
I read Tim Keaney at http://blogs.venturacountystar.com/vcs/keaney/ . Tim is a former school board candidate and a community activist. He writes mostly about education. He is a conservative writer and it is interesting to see his perspective.
I like the new kid on the block. Or new to me Jason Love. Words alone can't describe this funny guy. He also has a Star blog.
I also flip through the links to other blogs on the links page on the Star's website. Some of the staff writers don't update often, but when they do, I have seen some great stuff. Timm Herdt has a funny thing about Tony the Tiger ( Strickland according to these people is actually a liberal. I had no idea!).
There are now two great blogs written by members of our fighting forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. Go to them and leave a comment of support. I really like the Iraq blog. I feel even more empathy after reading it for our men and women in harm's way. How about we all make an effort to post a thank you to at least one of these two guys? I am sure they could use it. It only takes a minute, and it is an easy way to support our troops.
Do you blog? Or know of a great Ventura County themed blog? If so, post a link and a short explanation of what the blog is all about.

Props Brian - Thanks for the post and link. It's much appreciated. Your blog has become VERY interesting reading - it's a great place where those who say they aren't political, show their stripes.
Keep it up!

Brian,
Nope - not much of a blog reader personally. Writer yes, reader no.
I hear you on the Jefferson quote - Which is why I have never deleted any post. Love me or hate what I say, I'l always let people post about it.
