Special Election Predictions

Share: Share on Facebook submit to reddit StumbleUpon Toolbar

The special election is upon us. The attack ads have been planned. The last minute mailers are coming out of the print shops right now. In the next few days we will see a mud slide of mud slinging, misinformation, lies, distortions, and a wonderful debate.

All the ads are made. And most of us have made up our minds.

But let us forget all of that. Instead, I am calling on my readers to share your predictions on the outcome of the differing ballot initiatives.

In the comments section, leave your predictions on the outcomes of the differing questions being put forth to the voters.

Take these to the bank!!!!!

Looks like 74, 75, 76, and 77 will all lose by a couple of points -- unfortunately!

Brian,
Take a look at today's field poll of 11/1 and tell me if you think my hope is coloring my predictions. I think not. Also Brian do you know Stuart Bechman?

Wasn't Bechman behind trying to remove the cross on the hill in Simi?

Scott

Scott,

Indeed, that is THE Stuart Bechman.

I believe 74 & 75 will lose, and 76 is too close to call.

Tim

I'm going to avoid making predictions. I think this eleciton has a lot of people that are going to make a late break one way or the other.

Scott

Looks like Arnold is accepting he is going to lose everything on Tuesday and has already started his spin. He said yesterday if he loses everything that it is "The will of the peeple." Sounds like a loser talking.

Lawsuit filed against Arnold today for using his Governor's website, paid for by tax dollars, to promote his initiatives.

I am not saying it is right but...

How many people ever go to the official governor's website?

Sounds like someone really was thinking straight. I got to imagine there is a clear law about this, no?

Brian,
How about a blog on the best campaign commercial of the special election? I give the award to the No on 77 people with the Judge Wapner spot, excellent!

Hello all,

Been a little busy, precinct walking, phone banking, arguing with GAS on TV...

Please:

GOTV 237 2nd at A in Oxnard tomorrow 9-12
Sunday 10-2
Monday all day

On to Victory...

Vote YES 79 and 80

NO on all the rest!

Chris

Hey Brian,
Do I win a prize for my predictions? It is a beautiful day!

Arleigh,

You were the closest! But even you didn't see everything failing. It has been a real negative year. I hope the governor and the senate/assembly really do start working together.
