As always, if you have something to announce or a press release, send it to me. When people google campaigns they will end up here, so might as well have your latest information here for them to read. I will even provide a link back to your website.
wow youre popular
Thanks, but really I think local politics is important and it is not well enough covered. If it was, I think the traffic for this site would go way down.
Brian,
Your running a great blog, keep up the good work!
I miss Scott Blough. Why doesn't he post anymore? Anyways, look at the result if you google his name...
or google glen becerra simi
Brian,
Thank you for directing me to "google" (that's a new verb by the way) Scott Blough. I found out that he's a member of the Warner Center Toastmasters. Way to go Scott!!
If you google my name you'll see, among other things, that I work for Marylander Marketing Research, I'm a (proud) member of the Simi Valley Police Foundation Board, and have been recognized by the City Council for completing the Citizens Police Academy, volunteering with the Neighborhood Councils, and assiting with the planning of the annual Arroyo Clean Up day.
Interestingly, I'm also a member of the Rotary Club of Hatherleigh (England). Same spelling of my name, totally different guy (or is it?). I even emailed him and he wrote back!
I know you're a big fan of Google, Brian, so I thought you'd enjoy that.
Alan,
Put your name in quotes and you will get more precise results.
When I google your name the first reference to the American Alan Barkwill is this blog.
As Billy the kid said in young guns ( great movie)....
I'll make you famous!
I'm already famous, but thanks for the free publicity!
I just found this blog. I no longer live in Simi Valley. I couldn't stand the fact that you guys don't have a book store. What type of backwards town doesn't have a bookstore?
Michelle,
We figure if we don't have a bookstore, people will think we can't read, and they won't want to live here cause we are so "backwards"...
Barbra
We have a bookstore now.
I am very thankful for the arrival of Borders into Simi Valley.
Thank you developers, city officials, and free market!
Brian,
Great job on the blog, finding you all over Yahoo! in my search for local discussions.
Thanks for your time and efforts.
