George H. W. Bush once said "I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors.
Well, we still haven't found out exactly who in the government leaked the name of a CIA agent for partisan political gain, but at least we have something to laugh at.
Valerie Plame is now suing Dick Cheney and others to find out the truth.
Hopefully one day someone will have the character to admit it.

Did Novak try to seem embarrassed or uneasy to even be talking about his role in this dangerous scandal?
Leave it to Fox "News" to praise his hypocrisy.
Please note that of the ten stories on this blog at this moment, 9 either are pro-democrat or attack republicans in some way.
I think there needs to be equal time at some point.
How come no coverage of the President's speech today?
Did you see Hillary Clinton's fundraising letter where she sent a 3 page survey and said she's ready to listen, but then didn't ask one question on the Iraq war? How come no coverage? Feel free to check out www.listenhillary.org... I guess Iraq is only used to attack republicans and Joe Lieberman, but when it's Hillary, Democrats look the other way. Wonder why that is?
How come no coverage today of Housemember Murtha's words of disappointment that Hillary has not endorsed any troop withdrawl plan?
Do you support Hillary's avoidance of a troop withdrawl plan?
Do you think she should be booted from the party like Lieberman?
How come no coverage of Senator Kerry's carping that Lieberman is the new Dick Cheney?
I think that's just irresponsible on Kerry's part, but again no coverage here.
I also noticed that this blog covered global warming until our republican Governor showed great leadership and signed a strong bill this week.
I guess the "inconvienent truth" was only convienent when it was used to bash republicans.
I want to point out that the link on my name above was added by the publisher of this blog, not me.
Do any of the democrats on this blog support New Orleans Mayor Nagin's comments that ground zero is just a hole in the ground?
Do you consider him a new democrat or an old democrat?
On Snake on the Plame: It seems the leak is Richard Armitage. He seems to have admitted it. I think we will have to wait for the civil trial.
ML Peterson:
You are absolutely right. That broke in the New York Times, I believe tuesday of this week. Did you see the story?
It stated that upon seeing the story that he went right to the FBI and the Justice Department and told his story. To me, it was wrong to be so casual about names, but it also took character to admit one's mistake to the authorities.
Armitage also stated that he went to the Department of Justice and the FBI prior to the appointment of Patrick Fitzgerald, who I personally admire by the way. Yesterday, the Washington Post editorial stated that the only person to blame for keeping this story going was Former Ambassador Wilson.
Personally, I'd like to see Patrick Fitzgerald consider running for high office. I don't know if he's a democrat or a republican, but I like his take no prisoners approach with the mob, terrorists, and corruption cases.
So here is another inconvenient truth. The Hurricane center just cut down the number of predicted hurricanes this year, from 21 to 5.
So - Case solved, no more Global Warming!
WPHEW - Close one.
Patrick is a respected Republican for his professional behavior. Compare him to Ken Starr to see how he isn't one to cause division.
I am glad Armitage admitted it too.
