There is a rumor that Bill Davis is thinking of running for mayor again.
Okay it isn't really his ad. I don't believe Bill Davis will run again for office. But I have heard the rumors again. I also heard the rumors last time but he didn't sign up for that race either.
Bill Davis supporters say that he had a big hand in getting the Metrolink station to come to Simi Valley.
Is it true? Would of it happened without him? Can someone that served with him at the time fill us in more?
The train station is a great resource for the commuters of Simi Valley.

As long as Bill Davis is a Republican it means he will endorse Republicans, raise money for them, and help them get elected. I see almost nothing to motivate Democrats and I doubt Paul Miller will lose Republican support.
The Republicans will find a way to make the campaign partisan even if Paul Miller runs against another Republican.
Bill always did what he thought was best for Simi Valley. He called the City "my town". He call the senior citizens "my seniors". He told the residence of the Santa Susana Knolls to "get out of my town".
Now, though, Bill should continue to enjoy retirement and his consulting for Waste Management. Bill deserves to leave local government as a victor. To run, and lose, Bill will tarnish his well earned legacy.
How do we know Bill Davis works for the dump? I have only seen that reported on blogs.
Okay, I am not that thrilled, but I am interested to learn if there is any substance to the rumor.
I'd love to see Bill run to see which Mayor would have the most people voting for them, because they despise the other candidate... Two unpopular mayors at war.
Miller would wipe the floor with Davis if they go head to head!
I wonder if Bill's campaign would be nearly as exciting as the first 1/2 of this video.
Looks like there was a slow news day when this was posted. Both Davis and Miller could be defeated by someone running on a anti-dump expansion platform. So, who wants to be mayor?
Paul Miller has been a good mayor. Bill Davis was a good Mayor, although with a different style. But this video, boy is it boring. I can't figure out what story it is trying to tell.
The video is randomly grabbed from youtube.com as i was doing a search with the keyword Simi Valley.
I was hoping it would stimulate a conversation about the background of metrolink.
