Anyone planning on going? If you could what is the one question you would ask her? in 2000, I asked her if there was any chance she would consider being a VP candidate in that election. She basically said no.

As a Republican, I can support Ms. Feinstein but Boxer has to go!!!

I would ask her to be honest about why she once endorsed Glen Becerra.

Does anyone else think that picking the city of Santa Clarita to give a Washington Report in is kind of random of her?

Is there money out there??????

Katie, do you really support Feinstein? Do you think that Arnold has his eye on Boxer's spot?

Many Republicans support Feinstein as the more moderate of the two state senators.
There is a lot of action in Santa Clarita - you should take a trip over there and see for yourself. They have a huge and amazing chamber, which is good at both planning and promotion. Assemblyman Cameron Smythe (R) used to be president of the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce.

Thanks Leslie. I am thinking about going to this because clearly if Santa Clarita can get a state Senator for a luncheon, there IS stuff going on out there.

Yeah, Katie. I totally agree with you. Boxer is in the same category as Nancy Pelosi, as in, out there........................

I like Feinstein and have always voted for her. Boxer needs to go.

Bubba, is it a personal or policy issue you dislike Boxer for?

Where does she differ from Feinstein on an issue that matters to you?

Why is the Dantona thread not viewable? The Democratics eating their own too intense?

Ventura Freedom,

I deleted all of the comments because there was actionable libel posted there not related to the debate about the VCDCC.

I also deleted it because a local Republican activist was acting creepy again with regards to young women. I think it is better to erase trash although part of me says revealing the person that leaves slime comments deserves to be outed.

Anyways, I am fine with open debate, but sometimes the bile is too strong and scares away true debate. It is a fine line to be sure, but I'd rather be on the safe side then a blog that is so cut throat nobody wants to post anymore.

Thanks for your concern.

My one question for Di Fi:
Don't you think it's time for you to step down and give other candidates a chance to serve your, their and my state?
I advocate term limits on federal office-holders.

Ventura Freedom you are a joke! I just read how Tom McClintock spent an hour ripping apart republican Arnold Schwarzenegger, now that is eating your own. You only miss the Dantona thread because you are fascinated by Jim, which I understand given Tony Strickland is a goof! In terms of Barbara Boxer she kicks the living crap out of every GOP whack job that comes up, no wonder Bubba Kidd does not like her, I cannot even remember the name of the last GOP loser who took her on. GO BOXER!!!!!

I was there. Her speech represented the scariest 30 minutes of my life. I was reminded why I became a Republican. I didn't see a point in asking her questions as I question everything she says. I'd never be able to decide on just one.

Kevin,
That is why most people hate Republicans. Keep up the good work.

PosterBoy it is just no longer cool to be a republican, that is why they are all switching to dem or independent.

The one question I would like to ask Dianne Feinstein is why she continues to try to trample the First Amendment in funneling federal tax monies to the Catholic Church under the guise of rehabilitation of Catholic missions?

She and Boxer co-sponsored a bill two years ago to provide some $20 million to the Catholic Church to do that, stopped only by a threatened lawsuit from Americans United for Separation of Church & State. Then just in this past week, she and Boxer slipped in an 'earmark' into the 2008 Interior Dept. funding bill to provide $650K for the San Luis Rey mission in Oceanside - again, a site owned by the Catholic Church where there is an active congregation.

Why does DiFi hate our First Amendment so much - and if she's going to fund religious organizations, why fund an organization that has recently agreed to pay out some $1.6 BILLION in settlements for running and harboring pedophile rings? Does she think that the pedophile constituency is key to winning her next re-election?
