i have to say ron paul is my favorite republican candidate. I respect him for standing up for what he believes. however i doubt he would be able to actually implement them (i.e. getting rid of the IRS, FEMA, etc.)
side note: my favorite democrat candidate is the vegan, dennis kucinich.
Any chance you will register as a Republican to vote for Paul in the primary?
Is there any local support for Ron Paul? I would like to help him out.
While I have disagreements with Ron on foreign policy issues, I agree with him on most domestic issues. Overall, I prefer him to any other candidate in the race in any of the parties. I voted for him for President in 1988, and I'd probably do so again if he's a choice on the November 2008 ballot.
However, my foreign policy disagreements are sufficiently strong that I will not be donating to him on November 5th.

Ron Paul is a true small government guy.
Ron Paul is the only one running on the Republican side that will end the war. The others want to expand the war to Iran and make it into a multi-national, regional war that will only backfire uniting Sunni and Shia like no other time before Abu Bkar took his title.
I am impressed there is a conservative running for president.
