( Retired Lt. Governor of Maryland Kathleen Kennedy Townsend)
The Jim Dantona for State Senate fund raiser is this Thursday night in Simi Valley. Jim Dantona and Tony Strickland are both looking to raise a large amount of money. I have seen reports that Tony Strickland has already raised more than $400,000 for this race. Is that true?
It looks like Simi Valley will be ground zero for one of the most expensive senate races in California history if both sides follow through on their fund raising plans.
If you are an aspiring political activist I'd suggest getting a new copy of your resume in front of the campaigns.
The campaign has given out free tickets to a few local bloggers so I am sure there will be plenty of photos to go around. I will post links to the other blogs after the event is over.
If your blog plans to cover the event feel free to leave a link here.
So, who's going?

Brian,
$400,000 for a state senate seat. Are you serious?
This thing is going to be expensive. Is it just me, but what the heck are you going to spend that much money on. Maybe the winner will create a travel fund, something like Speaker Nunez has.
This is a vital race. It is a chance to turn a red area blue. If Tony Strickland is elected, he will advocate his extremely conservative positions. This is not what California needs.
Tony and Audra Strickland's monkey business with funneling campaign contributions to each other raises doubts about their integrity. See the LA Times article "Couple Paid Each Other Campaign Contributions" for details.
Here's a quote from the article:
"A Republican candidate for state controller [Tony Strickland] and his legislator wife [Audra Strickland] have funneled campaign money into each other's consulting firms, in effect boosting their income through political donations, campaign finance reports show."
Is this the kind of shenanigans we want to encourage among our elected officials?
If Dantona is elected, we'll have a moderate voice in the State Senate. This is exactly what we need to get legislation passed in this climate of polarization.
As for the $400,000, here is what the VC Reporter wrote in its September 13 cover story: "In the period ending July 31, it was reported that Strickland had received $443,641 in contributions, with an ending total of $380,563.02 after expenditures." Yeah, I know, "it was reported" sounds wishy washy. I think we can believe it. The demographics in District 19 are nearly evenly split--40.71% Republican versus 36.09% Democrat. Hopefully Republicans are discouraged enough by the failure of the Bush administration to neglect to turn up to vote.
Tony Strickland is not exactly inspiring. Jim Dantona is the right person for the job.

Dantona can turn the 19th into a powerhouse District with across the aisle support in Sacramento instead of continuing to be the laughing stock of the Senate. Sound legislation can be authored locally instead of nutty far out bills that die in Committee. We can actually have a local Senator who votes to protect our coast, places women on equal footing with men, funds our public schools and provides affordable health care for our children.
We may not go out to dinner for a couple of months, but my wife and I bought two tickets to the event to support Jim.
The Moondoggie is going to the event. I've been a Kennedy family fan since I was 16 and I'm not going to pass up an opportunity to meet Robert Kennedy's daughter. I want to hear from her why she would come to California from Maryland to lend her support to Dantona. I've been to several events at the Reagan Library and this event looks like it will be as good or better than any of those. I hope the weather Gods bring us a beautiful Thursday evening and some warmth though. It is a bit chilly tonight.
If the surf is up, I'm going to ask Ms. Kennedy to catch a few with the Doggie.
You're right, we need a "moderate" democratic who's going to vote with the other democratics to give drivers licenses to illegal immigrants, help drive out businesses by instituting an initial 7% tax on them to create state run health care (which will help drive out doctors as well) including illegal immigrants, ban the use of regular light bulbs, increase our car tax, give free in-state tuition to illegal immigrants, continue the raid on the gasoline tax fund which is supposed to pay for improving highway infrastructure, etc, etc, etc...
VF, when Team GOP can learn to actually DO what they claim they stand for, rather than SPEND, BORROW, GIVE-AWAY this nation into near-bankruptcy...then you might have an argument that's not laughable.
It seems Ventura Freedom forgot Tony Strickland, not Jim Dantona, has supported drivers' licenses for illegal immigrants.
Regardless of the arguments in favor of it that include many big city police chiefs say it helps them do their job the fact is the issue is unpopular which shows Tony Strickland ignored people like Ventura Freedom and voted his conscience.
But instead of listening to me on why it was a decent idea why don't you go ask your own party leaders?

Democrat or Republican Jim Dantona is "The right man for the job", he is an individual who I believe will help bring back some values that have been some how lost in past elected officials. Jim will be in my opinion a Senator that can be "reachable" by the people and will make responsible decisions that the citizens who elected him will approve of and honor. Jim will never forget the people who elected him. Personally, over these past many years I have been voting I have never really been behind any candidate so for me this is a first. In addition I have always voted Republican but not this time. The other day I spoke to a woman who lives in Simi Valley and she said, “I always vote a straight Republican ticket and I thought to myself how this person has blinders on. In each election there are such a varied number of candidates running and each person needs to win on their own merits and not because they are a Republican or a Democrat. For these reasons and more I am going to vote for Jim Dantona. In my opinion he will do the 19th District proud and be a great addition to the California State Senate.
Susan, you said it well. We are another family of moderate Republicans who have come to know Dantona. You will not find another guy who cares more about hard working men and women than Jim. He knows big business and represents their interests, but never with a blind eye to the environment, or the needs of the working stiff. The bus is coming to town and heading to Sacramento. Jump onboard!
Susan Bowman is a democrat, and has been one for many years. There is no honor in falsely portraying yourselves as "moderate Republicans" who are now voting Dantona.
It does neither you nor your candidate any good.
You see Ventura Freedom is strictly following the party line of the GOP and VCRCC. For 08 they know that they are looking at another major defeat. The L.A. Times has a great front page article today on how the GOP is falling apart and their own congresspeople and Senators are bailing out and saying they will not run and their fundraising is going very badly. They know that Iraq is a total failure, just look at the polls, Bush is already going down as the worst President in history, the GOP took a surplus and turned it into a loss and the national debt under the GOP has gone from 5 trillion to 9 trillion. Locally the VCRCC has turned extremist and local republicans are switching to dem or independent. The only thread wack jobs like Ventura Freedom have is to attack illegals. Before the next election I guarantee that both Audra Strickland and Gallegly will send out "surveys" at taxpayer expense attacking illegals. People locally are sick of the Strickland's and they want real leadership, they want a man like Jim Dantona!
Must be an election year. Audra got two peices of legislation passed - and they were all about animals. Elton cared about bears during the last election cycle.
What about the people?
Care bear, Elton and Audra are both in the minority, that means the only bills they can ever get through and signed are one's that deal with keeping pets safe. They never get any bills through that would send jobs and money to our district, that is why we need to get rid of them all and elect people like Jim Dantona who will bring jobs and money to our district.
Nava and Kuehl are pretty well connected. How come they haven't brought anything to Oxnard or the port? Where's the benefit to having them as legislators? Dantona's not the answer, he'd just be one more "yes" vote for the loony majority.
Capps is the Congress Rep, yet Gallegly does the heavy lifting for the bases. What's up with that?
I always consider each candidate before I vote. It seems the best candidates always end up being Republican.
Yep, Mom, you got it all straight. Elton has really been a mover and shaker in Congress. Strickland and Audra are also get done politicians. Only problem is they only get done what fills their pockets with cash. Glad you are impartial and study the issues, Mom. Especially where you got that Susan Bowman is claiming to be a moderate Rep. Looks to me like she just said she voted Rep. previously. Come on Mom, you're no apple pie. Me thinks you are a skunk in the wood pile.
Gallegly kept the base in his district, when he happily let go of Oxnard. Gallegly always hated representing all those minorities, and is a lot happier with the new 24th than with the old 23rd.
He worked for the bears when the Republicans were still in the majority. It was all about reelection the last time around.
Bring on the cute fuzzy animals! It's an election year!
Gallegly has been called a lightweight by his own party! He can't even figure out how not to run when he tried to get out! HAHAHAHA! Strickland's and Gallegly need to go! They do nothing for us! We need a real person who cares about people, we need DANTONA!
Not so fast! I like Congressman Gallegly, but in a race between Strickland and Dantona, I will cross parties and vote for Dantona.
Elton has been a good hometown guy for Simi Valley. Though not a mover and shaker in D.C., he has been strong to his convictions. Whether you support him or not, you know where he stands and he doesn't waiver.
I agree with Simi GOP gal. If you like Elton, you can like Dantona. Both have always been strong to their convictions. Dantona will make a great State Senator. He already knows his way around Sacramento, will have a very short learning curve and will get things done for the environment and jobs alike.
Surfers are for Dantona.
Surf's up, Jim. See you at the pier tonight.
Boy am I confused, it has been a long time since I registered to vote I guess I forgot if I was a Republican or a Democrat but apparently "mom" knows or wait, my mother died in 1967 and I am the last living female in my small but opinionated family.
Personally I believe that there is no honor in attacking someone that you do not know and when we do so it makes us less than the good person we want to be for ourselves and for our children.
That being said, I am not a bullet voter and never claimed to be a Republican or a Democrat but I do try and vote for the best person, one whom I believe will represent my views on issues of importance to me.
In this case I live in Simi Valley and believe that Jim Dantona represents my views and will best serve the needs of the good citizens in this community.
You tell 'em Susan. I like your style. Perhaps politics should fit into your future one of these days. If you are going to the Dantona campaign kick-off, I'll plan on meeting you. I'm going with a couple of my old Air Force buddies. Can't miss me. I'm the good looking guy. Sort of like Robert Redford or Dantona's younger brother Frank.
Moondoggie is it true that Bubba Kidd will be working at the Dantona fundraiser as a valet parking cars?
Bubba Kidd lacks the necessary qualifications to work in valet. Bubba did ask if he could hold a directional sign three blocks from the event and his contribution was accepted. In the event Bubba did want to attend, however, I would purchase a ticket for Bubba. Bubba is one of God's children, although one that has not done well, and everyone should have equal opportunity and love.
Surf's up, King. See you at the pier.
LOL!!!!! I think they should hire Bubba to entertain at the Dantona event, they could dress him up like a village idiot and he could juggle or something. Of course I doubt he has the skill to juggle so maybe he could just talk and everyone would laugh because I laugh whenever I read his posts.
The King and Moondoggie will be working at the fundraiser keeping his heads shoved up Dantona's gigantic rear end. But I guess since their heads are normally shoved up their own rear ends it won't be much different from their day job.
King, you got that right. By the way, where has he been lately? Must be back down his gopher hole.
I'm heading to the gym. Sometimes I run into Dantona there. Like Rocky Balboa, he is getting down to his fighting weight. A lean, mean, fighting machine. This Jackson thing doesn't really fit with his type of campaign. Perhaps he will just blow her down.
LOL!!!!! Hey Moondoggie, we smoked Bubba out from under the rock he lives under! I guess Bubba does not know that Osborn and the VCRCC have forbidden their minions from coming on this or any other blog, they fear free speech I guess! Now Bubba, go back under your rock and make sure you dress nicely and take a bath since you will be parking my Benz tomorrow night. I am THE KING and Bubba is my village idiot who makes me laugh at my command!
I have watched and read BK posts for a couple of years very closely.
Believe it or not I think that BK has never been a supporter of the Strickland's. BK just has fun smoking out controversy and provoking people with tunnel vision and getting them to hang themselves with their narrow comments. Sure that can be amusing, but I have never believed BK to be ultra-conservative, more economically conservative, socially moderate, very informed regarding governance and deeply committed to the community.
As a matter of fact if Dantona's supporters would step aside and BK and Dantona could have a rational sit down discussion (which I believe both of them to be capable of) I honestly believe BK would favor Dantona against the unscrupulous Strickland Machine.
Just my humble opinion and observation. I could be way off.
BK any comment, am I way off base???????? You can still like Dantona even though you don't agree with comments from his supporters.
If you don't want to answer I will understand, it will end all the fun you have stirring the pot and getting others to speak without thinking.
The question I would pose is: Do you judge a Band by their groupies or their artistic and musical skill?
BTW, when BK is able to have a rationale discussion re-an issue I generally agree with his argument and I consider myself a moderate DTS.
Nicely said BK Observer, or should I say Bubba? Actually Bubba Kidd strictly follows the GOP playbook, you always attack people and call names and then if they do it back you cry like a little baby, you also always interrupt the other person when they are speaking but you cry like a little baby when they do it to you, just watch Fox news sometime and you will see what I mean.
Yep King, our plan worked. We smoked out the gopher. Gopher alert. Get your traps and poison. This is a gopher alert. Gopher out from under rock.
No I am not BK I am the Love Child of Bubba Kidd + Laura Winchester
King, with that comment from the gopher I'm not letting him hold the directional sign to the event after all. Bubba, "you're fired"!
Surf's up King. See you this evening at the beach.
Moondoggie & King - You have proven my point... Love Child
You have truly been following my posts if you know about my Laura Winchester love child. Ah Laura, there will never be another that compares to you.
BK Observer seems to have good insight. I have no problem being open about my true feelings on issues, though most people around here are too blinded by their own political biases to ask or even care. As many regulars around here have learned, it is difficult, if not impossible to engage in a rational discussion of the issues in these threads. People are usually too busy shouting down others to actually take time to listen and consider the merits of an opposing argument. Too bad really.
On the Dantona question, I have already met and spoken with Jim Dantona. He actually seems like a pretty likable guy. BKO is correct that I have more of a beef with his cult supporters than the actual candidate, though I did take exception to some of his campaign tactics in the Supervisors race.
I do find it amusing that some folks think that I even care about their petty attacks against various conservative politicians, televangelists, or Fox News. And that whole gopher alert and parking valet thing is just juvenile and lacks imagination. If I'm going to be insulted I would prefer something more witty and intellectuallu stimulating. But, alas, that is probably too much to hope for.
Goodnight sweet Laura, and remember the precious time we shared together.
What has senator Kuehl done for us? She protected us and demanded not only a full clean up but a park from Rocketdyne.
That is something the Stricklands and McClintock did not do.
Gopher alert. This gopher reminds me of a Snap-on-tool salesman I once met.
Ah, our love child surfaces again.
Ma, see ya at the Dantona event tonight. Gig always asked me who my Ma is. She will love to finally meet you. Luv ya Laura. But Ma, you and the gopher? I just don't see it. I always thought Dad was Jerry Brown.
Actually I have scientific proof that BK/Bubba is the love child of Barry Goldwater and Momma Cass.
I too will be attending the Dantona event tonight and I am glad to hear Bubba Kidd was fired!
Make sure to keep your boy Dantona away from the dessert table.
We need to keep Dantona away from Bubba because Bubba is a twinkie and Jim does like eating twinkies after a good workout.
Are you saying that Jim wants to eat me! EAT ME JIM DANTONA!!! ROFL!!
Actually I heard you like to say "Eat me Larry Craig, I'm your hometown stall boy".
Is that your answer to everything, making repeated references to Larry Craig? Not only does that have nothing to do with the SD19 campaign but it also brings into question whether you have anything meaningful to contribute on any topic. In a battle of wits you are truly an unarmed man.
Gopher alert. Get you traps and poison. Gopher out from under rock. Grab your new Snap-on-Tools gopher smasher and bang him on the head. The tool works. This is an official gopher alert.
Bubba Kidd was caught looking over the fence at the Dantona event last night. Security caught him, tied him up and brought him in. Dantona took one look at him and walked away. He had long, sharp finger nails over one inch in length. He had two very long teeth, top and bottom, and his body was covered by long brown hairs. He apparently was very light sensitive as he closed his eyes when taken into the light.
Most of the supporters present wanted to hit him with a shovel. The King felt sorry for him, though, and convinced the group to let him go. He was put in a box and driven up into the hills where he was spray painted yellow and let go. He immediately dove into an abandoned hole in the ground and was not seen again. All present agreed that he was given this one free pass, but, if he returned, the shovel would be awaiting.
Surf's up. Meet everyone at the pier. Great event last night! Long live The King. Down with the Gopher.
Dantona, man of the hour, should be very pleased with his campaign kick-off event last night. The event was clearly the most powerful campaign event ever held in Simi Valley. Kathleen Kennedy gave a speech from the heart in telling of her family's long friendship with Dantona. Senator Cardenas went further in presenting a deep respect between the leaders of the State Senate and Dantona. David Roberti, longest serving Senate Pro-tem in California history, held the audience as he talked about his respect for Dantona over nearly thirty years. Food, drink and jazz band were of the highest quality. Dantona knows how to put on a first class event. Simi Valley may not yet have the reputation of Jackson's Montecito, but last night Dantona put on a event that was as good as any ever held in Montecito. Go Dantona!
With all that good food I sure hope that somebody was in charge of making sure that Dantona couldn't go back for seconds, or thirds.
He didn't even eat. Perhaps you haven't see him lately. Like most of aging America, he put on a few extra pounds. Now, after days at the gym and cutting back on twinkies, he is a lean, mean, fighting machine. Nevertheless, if you take a right cross from the champ you will know you have been hit by a freight train. The man has more muscle than most men half his age.
See Moondoggie, I command our Village Idiot Bubba to entertain us and he does!
A wonderful time was had by all! Interesting though....I've been to plenty of political events but even I was struck that few people I introduced myself to spoke about political agendas. Usually the talk centers around the races and their numbers, the need to win the election so that Plan A or Plan B can move ahead, the candidate's future moves up the political ladder, etc etc. I introduced myself to plenty of people and most of them talked about their faith in Jim as a public servant, not as a candidate. They spoke about personal integrity, from personal experiences. They talked about how Jim has always followed the ideal of working for others rather than for the politics of an ideal. For each of them Jim seems to represent a throwback to a day when your elected representative actually represented you and your community. I sensed this about Jim the first time I met him but I'm really a bit stunned that I'm not alone and that everyone I spoke to sensed or experienced the same about Jim.
This is going to be an interesting election because instead of political wonks and poll counters running the show there's gonna be a lot of hearts and souls out there supporting a guy they all truly love and admire...not for some agenda he can push for them or because he's become the top dog in the money-for-favors race, but because he's the genuine thing.
GS, that is what I observed as well. I have never enjoyed an event as much as Jim's event last night. It was such an upbeat group and all were strongly behind Jim because of friendship and respect. He is a politician from the old days when politics was a profession to be proud of.
A correction... the Pandolfi's put on a great event; give credit where it is due. It was Dantona that drew the supporters and VIP's for that he deserves credit. Constituents will ask themselves what Dantona will have to do in return for those endorsements, is he loyal to the VIP's and their political agenda's or the constituents in SD19.
The Pandolfi's have been unsung hereo's in this community and have a long history of supporting the best candidate across the aisle. I have attended several events at their home and their sincerity is apparent.
I have deep respect for Cindy Pandolfi, Esq., she is a true hero in my humble opinion for all that she does as a Ventura County Public Defender and her advocacy for helping troubled youth. She could easily earn a tremendous amount of money in the private sector but chooses to be a public servant. She is kind, compassionate and humble.
That being said. It's great that Dantona has VIP supporters, don't lose sight of the fact that he needs to win over the consituents of SD19 not VIP's from outside of the district. Some of his VIP supporters may very well lose him votes.
It's all about getting the individual VOTES not endorsements, believe me, I understand this intimately. Of course once elected and subsequently governing, those endorsements will assist him in being effective in his pursuits and making a difference.
Don't become blindsighted by the VIP's... people are currently skeptical about career politicians and LOBBYISTS. The important thing Jim should focus on is grass roots and DTS. He should also be pursuing college students UCSB, SBCC CLU, CSUCI, VCCCD, etc. When Senator Barack Obama was at the SBCC there were thousands in attendance. People on that side of the district have no idea who Dantona is. Dantona needs to do his research and find out who are
I for one am undecided...I need to be convinced, so far I am not in favor of any of the candidates. The lesser of two evils in my mind would be Dantona, I would never vote for a crook like Strickland, that doesn't make me thrilled with voting for Dantona. I have not forgotten some of the tactics that Dantona used in his last campaign. The Supervisors campaign left me feeling sorry for our community, it tainted people's thoughts about what means politicians will go to, to become elected. It was a low point in Simi Valley politics and it pitted neighbors and friends against each other, it still does. Dantona needs to redeem hiself in my eyes.
Fair enough, BK.
Dantona needs to redeem himself to a lot of people in this community.
And BTW, I only post my comments under one name. If Gary wants to insinuate that I post under multiple names then I'll need to remind others about Gary's history of writing write letters to the Star using both his name and his wife's name.
Speak my Village Idiot, Speak I command you!!!!! LOL!
Gopher alert. Get your traps and poison. Gopher out from under rock. This is an official gopher alert.
King & Moondoggie,
You are both tedious and boring. Will you please grow up! If you continue talking up Dantona and act like embiciles your candidate loses all credibility. Reading your posts are a waste of time amd accomplishes nothing.
Moondoggie what is up with the surfing dribble are you in middle aged crises where you have to let everyone know that you are still capable of doing something other than drive your electric scooter. You really seem to have an inferiority complex and narcissitc personality to always have to bring attention to yourself in every post.
I suggest you read Gary Selvaggio's posts at least he can engage in level headed debate.
If Dantona does not heed the advice of the swing vote he will lose. His supporters need to grow up and learn the talking points instead of alienating voters.
What are the issues that Dantona wants to address? How will he tackle the issues and gain bi-partisan support?
What is it King & Moondoggie that you see in Dantona as being able to ACCOMPLISH TO MAKE REFORM! Or do you only like him because "he is nice and you get to go to great parties and meet VIP's that you otherwise would never have access to.
Let's talk serious issues, I am tired of the banter.
One thing that I admire about Dantona are his family values, his Mother won many votes for, including mine and my entire extended families for a total of five votes.
What will Dantona do about:
The alarming rate of HS dropouts
The alarming rate of young people 15-24 with STD's
The effects of global warming for whatever reason.
The proposal for LNG off our shores
Preventative measures for wildfires
The alarming retirement benefits for public employees
Replenishing the labor force when baby boomers retire
Affordable housing and the inability of our young people to afford to live in our community.
The increasing EPA restrictions and workman's compensation that is driving manufacturing overseas
WATER RESOURCES
Our elderly that are under prepared to care for themselves physically and financially
Disabled individuals and the lack of caregivers to care for them and the high burn out they endure.
NIMBYs' who do not want group homes for the disabled our troubled teens in their neighborhoods
A tax system that is driving the most wealthy to leave CA and list their homes here as secondary in an effort to avoid state income taxes
Making incentives to motivate businesses to relocate to CA
Drug addiction and the smuggling of illegal substances across the border
How about LAX having a 75% failure rate in detecting bombs at airports when undercover agents tested them
What about the housing market and American's obsession with debt and the negative savings rate among citizens
The lack of workers in the trades to replace aging carpenters, electricians, plumbers and so on
The fact that we have dismal vocational trade opportunities for HS students and Ventura County only receives 25% of what other Counties receive
That's just to get started! Will Jim come online and answer my questions?
I know Strickland won't.
Jim can redeem himself in my eyes if he can answer my questions and not rhetoric actual plans to accomplish his goal.
Love Child, you keep being mean to me and I'll start running gopher alerts on you like I do on Bubba Kidd.
Gopher alert. Get your traps and poison. Gopher out from under rock. This is an official gopher alert.
Moondoggie,
Your so vain... I bet you think this song is about you.
Sincerely,
Love Child
PS bring on your lame gopher alert...get a life I am over your type.
Moondoggie,
Your so vain... I bet you think this song is about you.
Sincerely,
Love Child
PS bring on your lame gopher alert...get a life I am over your type.
BK & Love Child,
Redemption is overrated.
Love Child, it isn't my vanity you protest, it is my brain. Gig and I were part of the original love child movement in the 60's. We are love children. You claim to be open minded about Dantona. Well open that mind and talk to him. Learn his positions on issues. You will find that he is an OK guy who represents the issues of the majority of voters in the 19th. He cares about working folks, cares about those most in need, love family and God, and understands the need for a growing State economy. When you come around and join the Dantona team, Love Child, I will welcome you on my board as we ride a wave together.
Love Child, thanks for the kind words about Cindy. Cindy has been my pride and joy for over thirty-one years. Her family came on the Mayflower and she has followed her Mom from the D.A.R. to the Republic Women Federated. She cherishes our Constitution and has dedicated her career to defending the poor. We have been strong supporters of Dems and Reps alike, more often than not Reps, and we are excited to be a part of Team Dantona. Jim is a close and valued friend. If you don't support a friend, your support, and you yourself, become of little value. I am certain, Love Child, that when you talk to Jim and discuss the issues that are important to you, you too will join Team Dantona.
Thanks again for the kind words about by wife.
Why is it that Team Dantona will not answer direct questions about the position of their candidate on important issues? People are asking specific questions, yet the Dantona cult seems afraid to discuss anything in public. Why the secrecy? Why do people have to meet with Jim Dantona personally to get answers to simple questions? That doesn't seem to be an effective way to reach out to thousands of DTS and moderate voters. Is is too much to ask for a candidate who is unafraid to make their positions public?
Gopher alert. Get your traps and poison. Gopher out from under rock. This is an official gopher alert.
Snap-on-tool has a new gopher eradication tool, endorsed by the Concrete Pumping Association, and it works. Get your gopher eradication tool and keep it handy with your other traps and poison for your next Gopher Alert.
Bubba Kidd why won't you address the fact that Mitt Romney had Larry Craig, Vitter and Strickland all working for him showing what terrible judgement he has in picking people? I assume if Mitt is elected President he will appoint Tom Foley head of the Congressional page program and he will appoint Ted Haggart as his religous advisor, why do you support that Bubba?!
King, you are still talking to it? I just send gopher alerts. I don't believe in talking to varmit.
Thanks again for proving my point. Team Dantona once again refuses to provide any details about their candidate. All they can muster is their usual idiotic "gopher alert" and obscure references to unrelated topics and individuals that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. They have repeatedly demonstrated that they are unwilling or unable to answer even simple questions. Jim Dantona is an empty suit.
Quit ducking the question Bubba! Why do you support Larry Craig?!
King, Bubba and Larry Craig met in the restroom. They bonded that meeting into a real friendship.
Gopher alert. Get your traps and poison. Gopher out from under rock. This is an official gopher alert.
King, sorry for the poor grammar. Didn't mean to imply that you were with Bubba and Larry in the restroom. I was simply calling to your attention my fact of BK and Larry getting "together".
King, keep the pressure on the gopher. Extermination is in the near future.
Actually I was washing my hands and I saw Bubba slide under the stall into Craig's stall, very disgusting!
Fantastic, so we have an eyewitness. It is more than just a rumor. I know the gopher doesn't like rumors. It is always very "factual". Well, once again King, sorry you had to see it for yourself, but it is good that now we know that it did happen. We now have a two faced, gay bashing, phony right wing homophobe gay gopher. It is a new species, to be sure. Congrats are in order to The King. Let's try to catch it and donate it to the zoo. I called the curator of rodents and he is looking forward to displaying this new species.
LOL!!!!! You see CAP-608 this is why I hired BK as my Village Idiot, he brings me so many laughs with his little rants and his little posts and his crocodile tears and his undying love for the VCRCC even though they are driving the VC GOP into the ground!
Yes, I concur with you King, he is the Village Idiot.
I actually had a fondness for BK at one point in time. Then I saw that he never has a nice thing to say and always comes out of his hole to say the same old nonsense about Jim Dantona. What a sick individual.
That said, surf's up, King. Hope to see you on a wave tomorrow morning.
Sticks and stones boys. Your petty personal attacks won't stop me and others from exposing Jim Dantona as an empty suit. Dantona's evasiveness on the issues and the sleazy smear tactics employed by the zealot extremists who support him only prove that Dantona is an opportunist who is all talk and no substance.
Gopher alert. Get your traps and poison. Gopher out from under rock. This is an official gopher alert.
Exposing Jim Dantona? This is one sick gopher. The village idiot babbles in gopher speak easy and it thinks it is making an impact on voters? No wonder is lives underground in the dark.
Well I guess is takes Tim Herdt to tell us why the Dantona group has been so vague and evasive about the attendance at the event.
His article today explains why all the nebulous references to "vip's" were necessary..........no one showed.
That is no one of consequence. No Perata, no Padilla, in fact no Senators or Assembly members at all. The best they could do was Cardenas, an L.A. councilman who is also Dantona Jr.'s employer.
The truth was bound to come out, you guys should have just owned up to it instead of getting your covers pulled,
It's a bad start boys.
LMAO!!
