It is being reported by Politico.com that John McCain is considering Elton Gallegly for VP in an effort to show he is getting tough on border security.

Elton? If true, those of us who voted for you in the past hardly know who you are today. Clue to you: this will not help!
Get real, tell Lieberman to stop whispering in your ear on camera and be yourself or continue to generate yawns from the voters and media. (No one can figure out who you are and where you stand these days.)
P.S. - Hint: George W's endorsement of your campaign was a curse, not a blessing. He is totally discredited with his own party as well as the rest of the nation. He was even the object of boo birds at the NL MLB opener when he threw out the first ball in DC this week - something extremely rare since this tradition first started in 1908.

Apparently the VCRCC are trying to clean egg off their face over a recent attempt to push through an endorsement of Gallegly that went sour when Osborn messed up in counting votes.They will try again with a hastily called special meeting.
