Did you see McCain recently said he would veto every "beer"?
Of course I have my opinions on candidates and issues but this blog is open to different parties. If you want to have your event listed just send me an email.
Do not veto beers because they have earmarks!

You might get more of the current batch of politically correct Democrats to attend these events if you made some important changes:
Wouldn't a wine and cheese party be more Californian than beer or hard liquor and pretzels? Beer is so . . . well, so St. Louis or Milwaukee. Of course, a real Californian shouldn't think of drinking a Manhattan! And pretzels may be too politically charged for California veterans of the WWII European theatre.
To spur our sagging economy, only California wines and cheeses should be served. No upstarts wines from Australia nor pretentious pinots from Provence! Ban cheeses from outside of this state including Wisconsin, America's fake "dairy land!" We do not need goudas from Green Bay and we should definitely pass on the provolone from Parma.
Way to reinforce the perception that Democrats are elitist wine sippers and fancy cheese eaters.
There are many Californian beers and breweries. Try Loast Coast Breweries from Humboldt County. They are available locally.
Maybe that is what they are drinking.
