Local Barack Obama supporters are putting together a great organization. I was surprised I didn't see more Democratic leaders at the event but I the UFCW hall was full of supporters. There will be Barack Obama signs, stickers, and magnetic bumper stickers at this meeting. Here is a video from the last meeting:

Obama Monthly Meetup for the 24th Congressional District - Wednesday, July 23, 7 - 9 PM, UFCW Orchid Room in Camarillo
On June 17 we had a terrific meeting in Camarillo with about 190 supporters attending. We covered the basics on what to expect moving forward; hosting events; developing city groups; phonebanking; canvassing and traveling to other states.
On July 23 we have scheduled the second monthly meetup. This event will be co-hosted by Deborah Dent, CD 24 Obama for America Coordinator and Roni Flowers, Obama for America Volunteer. This will be an opportunity for Obama supporters and city group members to meet together, welcome new volunteers, participate in a brief Q & A and receive information on the campaign's general election plans for California . Also, Roni Flowers will conduct a workshop on voter registration.

Just a side note:
I recently found and placed the pension director with the UFCW. The person I placed is in charge of over 1.6 million food worker's pensions Nationwide. Executive search firms around the Country had been working on filling the position for over a year. I filled it in less than a month. I recruited the candidate from the U.S. government. Instead of working for the Bush Administration this person is now working for the American workers.
Not bad for a nobody huh?
...yep...and this was the week the illegal alien-loving Obama promised the puppet leaders of Iraq and Afghanistan that he will continue to send american sons and daughters to die in their stupid countries.....
...instead of grabbing a bumper sticker...how about signing up your sons and daughters to go fight for commander-in-chief obama in iraq and afganistan....somebody's sons and daughters will be....he has promised that...

Yesterday McCain said "We are having problems along the border of Pakistan and Iraq that they share". The only problem is that Pakistan and Iraq do not share a border. McCain is looking older and more senile each day, Obama has my vote!

I had mine on in Austin at Whole Foods the other day and impacted more people than I could have blogging or going to a meeting- mainly because there was a broad spectrum or people there, not just Obama supporters.
