( Rep. Gallegly talking about the surge.)

Democratic nominee to take on Rep. Elton Gallegly has some new events scheduled. Click on continue reading to see them.

I called Rep. Gallegly's office but he isn't doing any public events in the next few months. If he announces an event I will post it.

Also, his website continues not to mention the war in Iraq. Is he really afraid of Marta Jorgenson? Is the issue not important enough for him to post his position?

I would think Elton Gallegly, who is in the district often, would schedule something not behind closed doors or unannounced.

"I called Rep. Gallegly's office but he isn't doing any public events in the next few months."

Yeah - he's laying low until after the election, when he'll lay even lower in D.C.

And he will especially avoid Republican events. As he was quoted by his campaign manager Shelley Johnson a few years ago, "I throw the elephant out the window after the primary," Watch her blanche if you ask her.

I'm sorry but I find Gallegly's attitude very disrespectful - towards his constituents and towards his opponent. It isn't right.

Yes, Elton Gallegly will work his Rope-a-Dope strategy to electoral victory in November while the Democrats and Marta Jorgenson look like a bunch of dopes on the ropes.

I will likely submit my vote for Marta as a protest vote against Gallegly but I might as well cast my vote for a doorknob for all the good it will do.

Back to my nap.

Sure, Katie. Try and sound objective. The truth is you find anything any Republican does disrespectful. And you still claim to be a Republican? Talk about disrespectful.

Voter,

Do you think Rep. Gallegly should address Iraq on his campaign page?

Do you think he should hold public events where people can ask him questions? I called and they said there was nothing scheduled for the next two months.

Is the Pro-Choice/Pro-Life issue addressed on his campaign page? This issue is of particular interest.
