Simi Valley - Be sure before you vote status quo!
( In this video a Bruce Witkin supporter points out that Paul Miller hasn't updated his website since 2004. But it says more information coming soon. Do you think Paul Miller is very confident to the point he isn't campaigning much?)
Bruce Witkin's campaign has a new website up and has a few youtube videos up too.
Bruce answered questions from my readers which you can read by clicking here.
Do you have any more questions for Bruce?
Do you think there should be any debates in this campaign?
The current mayor, Paul Miller is obviously the favored candidate at this point. But if Bruce is able to run a good campaign I expect to see him running again in the future.

Bruce, I am going to add your name and website to the CAPC website. Please send me an e-mail at KatieTeague@verizon.net. I could also use a pic.
Brian, the "click here" for previous questions doesn't work right.

CAPC would very much be interested in a debate.
It is working fine for me. It links to his category with the two entries I have written on him.
Yes, I have a question for Mr. Witkin. Why is it he didn't show up for the candiates question night with SEIU?
The Mayor was there...so he's not taking anything for granted...Mr. Sojka and I were there and so were the other candidates running for council. Only candidates mssing were the ones running against Mr. Miller for the Mayors seat.
Mr. Witkin - I am no fan of Mr. Miller. While the Mayor has seemingly taken SV voters for granted, please don't YOU take the discontented vote for granted. We all need to know who you are and what you would like to do.
All, I plan to volunteer my time to give Mr. Witkin a forum with which he can discuss his position on the issues so you can cast an educated vote. I've already been in contact with him and am looking forward to it.
Ms. Williamson, the point of the video was mine, not Mr. Witkin's, just to be clear. By the way, I'd be very interested in talking to you about your position on the Shop Simi Valley First campaign. Could I convince you to chat with me on camera?
Mr. Chandler,
Sorry, I didn't watch the video. And yes, absoloutely, please contact me. (805) 231-2497

i will not hide an i take nothing for granted. i am taking this campaign very seriously and should be back on track in a couple of days. please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments
I appreciate the direct response Mr. Witkin. I wish the same could be said for our SD-19 candidates.
I will be following your campaign. Thank you!
Hope you're feeling better Mr. Witkin.
Look forward to seeing you at the next event.
Barbra,
Hope you are well. When will the City Council Members campaign finances be disclosed on the City website. I thought they were supposed to be posted by the end of July.
To be transparent it would be necessary to report contributions, expenditures, loans, contributions and unpaid debts.
Would you also add another level of transparency by encouraging City Council members to disclose all Independent Expenditures that are being made on their behalf but are not listed on their Candidates Committee statement?
