Join us for a sit down luncheon and to browse, and bid on, the always interesting silent auction items.

Our featured speaker is Gil Garcetti, former Los Angeles County District Attorney and now best selling author, noted photographer and environmental activist. His latest book, "Water Is Key" explores the impact of the scarcity of clean water in western Africa.

Also speaking will be our special guest, Eric Bauman, Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party. He has few peers in getting Democrats ready for any election battle, let alone one as important as the one this November.

Wow,that's a nice bike. I wonder if he ever goes on rides with Mickey Jones.

Hi Tom -

I'm sure your heart is in the right place and I applaud your enthusiasm, but when you associate your organization with Gil Garcetti you lose all credibility. If it were not for Gil Garcetti, we would not have O.J. Simpson running around claiming his innocence. They say "you are judged by the company you keep". I'm sorry to say and that you've lost all crediblity with all sane constinuency that have a memory of the recent past.

Sincerely,

Joseph Mica

Mr. Mica,

The OJ Simpson trial ended in 1995.

Gil Garcetti left office in 2000.

He published his first book of photographs, "Iron" in 2002 to critical acclaim.

We have invited Mr. Garcetti to discuss his latest book, "Water Is Key" because it focuses attention on the fresh water crisis in western Africa and around the world.

Thank you,

Tom Mullens
