Did you watch the debate tonight?
What are your thoughts?

Brian,
The Chamber's candidates forum will soon be available on their website as a streaming video. Anyone who was not able to make it will be able to hear all the candidates statements.
Why are all the videos associated with that one about the Jonas Brothers??
That has to be the most mismatched "related videos" I've ever seen . . .
What did I think about the debate last night? I think Barack Obama is going to be the President of the United States come January '09.
I watched all 3 Debates and ladies and gentlemen believe me when I say it's all over. McCain who I respect for what he has been through in the Vietnam War has totally sold out to his handlers. He comes across as a bitter nasty old man, by the way I'm a 67 yeart old Republican. I think McCain should have stayed on the higher ground. The issue is the ECCONOMY STUPID. Attacking O'bama is ridiculous, no one cares, we are all losing are jobs and retitement.
The Democrats will Win this One.
I listened to the debate on the radio and I have to agree with It's Over. I don't know if he sold out to his handlers but he came across as bitter, angry and defeated. He should have stayed on point and not get personal.
I do think that Obama should have said "no, I don't think Palin would make a good President". Instead he heaped false platitudes.
I think picking her sealed the deal - McCain would have had a much better chance with a different VP.
turn out the lights the parties over!
The incumbent President's party always takes a beating if the economy isn't looking good. The 3-6% national shift coincided with the great panic of 2008.
Obama is outspending McCain big time. I think the last article I saw was NPR had Obama outspending McCain 3-1 in swing states.
Obama will deliver a prime time half hour announcement before the world series to finalize the deal. That ain't cheap.
So, the general trend appear to be holding true. The candidate with the most money to spend is winning. The one who has the incumbent President in their party during an ailing economy is not winning.
There is still a fews days left in this race and anything can happen.
So far, no big surprises though.
If you want a good laugh, take a look at the Al Smith Foundation Dinner comments from McCain and Obama last night. McCain had some very, very kind and respectful words for Senator Obama that were heartfelt and sincere.
I really liked both candidates' humor.
Best wishes to everyone as we head down the homestretch.
