"F" Al Quaeda!!! Who gives a scintilla of a crap about what they like or dislike! Especially after their likely involvement in the Mumbai terrorist attacks.
These slimy scumbuckets need to we wiped off the face of the earth as soon as humanly possible. And I certainly hope Barack Obama has this at the very top of his "to do list" when he assumes office, or God help us and the rest of civilized society!
I agree wholeheartedly with "F Al Quaeda". I too am hopeful that President-elect Obama gets off on the right foot in terms of how he responds to global terrorism. We cannot pussyfoot around with these guys. They need to know that Obama has at least as much resolve to wipe them off the face of the earth as George Bush does.
They are, in fact, testing the United States with this attack in Mubai. They (and the rest of the world) are anxiously awaiting the U.S. response to these outrageous acts. And I certainly hope it is a swift and firm response by our new president.
I think, since it's now been determined that 5 Americans died in these deadly attacks, that we go over to India and clean house on these terrorists. At a minimum, we should be assisting the Indian government in counter-strikes against this organization, which apparently was based in Pakistan (our supposed allies). We should not stop until we have eliminated this group from the face of the earth, as a lesson to all that are considering following suit.
Personally, I don't think Obama has the huevos to react appropriately to these situations. But, lest we forget, George W. Bush is still our president until January 20th and I don't think he has a problem responding in the appropriate manner.
You are correct that all political parties complain about their media coverage when it fits their agenda. But they don't all complain about as much as each other.

It is good news that their recent racist language will make it harder to get support in East Africa where they have been trying to recruit people.
We should listen to what they say so we can exploit it in our efforts to further marginalize them.
Al Queda hoisted on its own petard!

Funny how conservatives and Al Queda are both upset with the media.
Yeah, and liberals too, when it suits their purpose.
