Local Democrats Launch Updated Website

The Ventura County Democrats have redone their entire website. Click here to check it out.

They have a new blog that is updated. Check out what they said about the outcome of the vote counting between Hannah-Beth Jackson and Tony Strickland. When is an updated tally coming out?

Most of LA County has weighed in and less than half of Santa Barbara's same-day ballots and provisionals have been counted. Ventura County is still working on its same-days and provisionals. Over two days in VC Strickland netted 145 votes.

In the Santa Barbara count of 2,369 votes yesterday, 1,552 (65%) were for HBJ, giving her a net gain of 735 votes and a total of 71,650 (and counting). TS got 817 votes (34.5%) for a total of 57,561.

HBJ's down 1,721 and the fight is not over.
