Is it just me or is it boring checking the mailbox since there is no more political mail? I keep thinking it would be funny to find a mailer that got lost on the way. But no luck thus far.

Am I alone or was checking for the latest mailers entertaining?

Me personally I am glad and relived that I dont have to see a pound of dead trees in my mailbox every day.
What really sucks is that I usually got 4-5 fliers of the same type about every week, Snail Spam?
Its just one big waste, waste of trees, waste of ink and waste of my time. I am glad its over. Now I just have to find a way for these credit card companies to stop spamming me with credit card offers every week (the same card offers)

Are you kidding?

Not for me. I just subscribed to the magazine Foreign Policy and every day I go home hoping my first issue has arrived.

I will agree, the mailers were cool. Especially when you'd go to a friends and see the flyers you wouldn't get at home.

I'm thinking that one consequence of the financial meltdown is less unsolicited credit card applications in the mail, so I wouldn't worry too much about that ;)
