Has any one actually been up there?

I have. The property is actually breathtakingly beautiful. It's a real surprise to drive up that road and come upon that property. It's really quite a sight.

I've only seen it from google earth. I heard it was for sale for more millions than I can count.

If you caught the first five or so seasons of The Biggest Loser, you saw the Hummingbird Ranch . . inside and out. Also, shows up in many made for TV movies. Recently saw scenes filmed around the Ranch on the patio, horse area, etc. in Debra Messing's series on USA Channel called Starter Wife. Beautiful place for a classy film location.
Two weeks ago, up at Tapo Canyon Park the Hallmark Channel was filming a movie and I asked why they use Moorpark, Simi and TO so often in their films. They said that the cities/county are very cooperative with filmmakers with fewer limitations than other cities.

Fine, I'll start the New Year off by saying I think it is deplorable the way donations were made and the project was presented less than a month after the elections.

Is it open to the public to visit? Do I have to wait to get tickets to the next horse competition?
